James Gornall: "I had seen this race from afar since its conception only a few years ago, and had wanted to take part as soon as I saw it. This year, I was lucky enough to be asked to drive an Aston Martin V8 Vantage N24 by Beechdean Motorsport. The car, designed with 24 hour races in mind, runs in class two. My partners for the weekend were Andrew Howard - team owner, Jamie Smyth - regular Beechdean driver, and Neil Cunningham - an experienced sports car racer, who proved to have a vast amount of useful 24 hour knowledge. After all, this was my first attempt at a round the clock race!"
